Radio Sawa was an Arabic-language radio station that began broadcasting on March 23, 2002, serving audiences across the Arab world. Operated by the Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN)—which also runs Alhurra Television—the station was publicly funded by the U.S. government.
